S.P.O.T., who believes in quality over quantity, was discovered by DJ DCS at a record store in Rotterdam, in the Netherlands.
He’s currently working on an EP, and says a couple of singles are on the way.

L. SOJINI (L.S): Can you tell us about yourself? Where you’re from and what kind of musician you are.
S.P.O.T.: My name is S.P.O.T. which means Strategy Produces Overall Thought.
I'm an independent songwriter and recording artist from East Flatbush Brooklyn, New York.
L.S: How did you get into music?
S.P.O.T.: I was discovered by DJ DCS at a record store in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
L.S: What do you think makes good music?
S.P.O.T.: Beautiful instrumentation and great songwriting.
L.S: What are your strengths and weaknesses as a musician?
S.P.O.T.: I'm a strong songwriter, still working on my instrument skills.
L.S: What are you currently working on?
S.P.O.T.: Wrapping up an EP with a UK producer and a few new singles are coming soon.
L.S: How do you approach music? As in, what’s your philosophy when it comes to making music?
S.P.O.T.: I believe in quality over quantity.
My music begins with developing a concept and building from there.
L.S: What is your proudest achievement as a musician?
S.P.O.T.: Touring overseas.
L.S: How do you promote your music?
S.P.O.T.: Grassroots and social media.

S.P.O.T.: Stevie Wonder – amazing musician and songwriter.
L.S: What’s your advice or message to fellow musicians?
S.P.O.T.: Never give up.
